What we paint

Interior painting

Walls, ceilings and trim in one room or the whole house: furniture moved and covered, every surface prepped, then cut in by brush and rolled, two coats.

  • Furniture moved and covered
  • Patching, sanding and caulking
  • Two finish coats, sheen agreed per room
  • Daily clean-up

TimelineOne to three days for a typical room; a week for a full interior.

Exterior painting

Siding, trim, doors and decks, washed and scraped first so the finish lasts through the seasons.

  • Pressure wash and scrape
  • Prime bare wood
  • Two finish coats
  • Plants and paths protected

TimelineMost homes take four to eight days, weather permitting.

Cabinet refinishing

Kitchen and bathroom cabinets sprayed off-site for a factory-smooth finish, with doors back on in about a week.

  • Doors and drawers labeled and removed
  • Degrease, sand and prime
  • Sprayed finish, off-site
  • Hardware reinstalled

TimelineFive to seven working days.

What a written quote looks like

Itemized by room or surface, with prep and protection as their own lines, so you can see what you are paying for before anyone opens a can.

On site, while the job is ours

Floors and furniture covered, edges cut by hand, two coats on everything, and the yard left as we found it.

What we bring to the walkthrough

  • Painted sample boards in your shortlist, to leave on the wall for a day.
  • A written scope by room, with the prep spelled out.
  • A calendar that says which days we are in your house.

What we use on site

  • Canvas drop cloths and floor paper, taped at the baseboard.
  • Low-tack tape on trim and glass, pulled the same day.
  • Dust extraction on every sander, inside and out.
  1. A roller laying a pale first coat on a wall, the pass still wet

01 The first of two coats, back-rolled while wet so the finish reads as one skin, not stripes.

  2. A roller tray on a table covered with a drop sheet, by a window in soft daylight

02 Whatever stays in the room is covered and taped; the tray lives on a sheeted table, never the floor.

  3. Two clean brushes with copper ferrules, laid on a weathered wooden board

03 Brushes and sleeves washed out at the end of every day, never left to stiffen in the tray.

How a color gets chosen here

Sample pots and brushed-out cards against your own wall, in your own light, for a day before anyone commits a room to it.

Flat to semi-gloss, and where each belongs

  • Flat

    Shown in Linden

Ceilings and low-traffic walls. No shine; hides roller marks and small repairs.

  • Eggshell

    Shown in Moss

Living rooms and bedrooms. A soft sheen that wipes clean.

  • Satin

    Shown in Slate

Kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. Stands up to scrubbing.

  • Semi-gloss

    Shown in Night

Trim, doors and cabinets. Crisp edges, easy to clean.
